Performing two Google searches from a desktop computer can generate about the same amount of carbon dioxide as boiling a kettle for a cup of tea, according to new research.
How can you cut the amount of CO2 generated from your Google searches? How about an parallel universe search engine?
The creators of Blackle state that the idea behind the site came from a blog, which estimated that a black Google would save 750 megawatt-hours a year…click that pic and check it out.
