The Boob Bowl

Karl Lagerfeld has designed a bowl for Dom Perignon Champagne inspired by the German supermodel Claudia Schiffer‘s breasts. Lagerfeld’s so-called ‘boob bowl’ which is perched on three porcelain bottles and retails at $3,150, is said to be a modern version of a bowl that was made for Marie Antoinette in 1787. Legend has it that it was the exact size of one of the French queen’s breasts and was used in turn as a template for the universal cup-shaped champagne glass.
