Danny’s Lemonade

Thumbing through last weeks New Yorker magazine, we couldn’t help noticing a familiar face on the back page advertisement. It’s Danny DeVito!
DeVito is pitching his limoncello by Danny DeVito. The liquor was launched shortly after his famously drunk appearance on The View when he remarked, “I knew it was the last seven limoncellos that was going to get me.”
Capitalizing from the embarrassing incident, DeVito teamed up with Harbrew Distributors to launch his own line of limoncello. Everybody had a laugh and moved on but here it is, two years later, and far from being a one-off gimmick, limoncello by DeVito is going strong.

Bizarre Blago Behavior

The lead prosecutor in Illinois’ historic impeachment trial urged the state Senate on Monday to remove Governor Rod Blagojevich from office for crimes against the public while the governor spent the day in New York, lashing out at his accusers on national television.
The solemnity of the political trial within the ornate state Senate chamber contrasted with a TV appearance in which talk-show co-host Joy Behar mussed Blagojevich’s hair and unsuccessfully urged the governor to do a Richard Nixon impression saying, “I am not a crook.”
