Phelps Friends Are Fucked

COLUMBIA, South Carolina – A photo is worth a thousand words — and apparently multiple arrests.
The house where a photo was taken of American swimming superstar Michael Phelps smoking from a marijuana pipe is the center of an investigation by the Richland County Sheriff’s department.
Apparently, eight arrests have been made in connection with the party, which was held off-campus at the University of South Carolina in November 2008.
Marijuana possession is considered a misdemeanor in Richland County and is punishable by up to 30 days in jail.

Kelloggs is not renewing dolphin boys’ contract over …yes ‘THE EVIL WEED’.

AND USA Swimming also got in on the Stoner Phelps action yesterday by suspending him for 3 months without pay. Yeah, we’re sure he needs that CHECK.
that story is HERE
USA Swimming issued this stupid statement: “This is not a situation where any anti-doping rule was violated, but we decided to send a strong message to Michael because he disappointed so many people, particularly the hundreds of thousands of USA Swimming member kids who look up to him as a role model and a hero. Michael has voluntarily accepted this reprimand and has committed to earn back our trust.”

Michael won’t really miss any pool time fun. His suspension will end right before the World Swimming Championships in Rome…

Phelps High Times

RALEIGH, North Carolina – Record-breaking Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps could face criminal charges following the publication of a photograph purportedly showing him smoking marijuana.
A South Carolina law enforcement official said he would charge Phelps if he could prove the U.S. Olympian smoked marijuana in his county.
Both the University of South Carolina and Columbia police departments have said they would not pursue charges against Phelps.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) said it accepted his apology and U.S. officials said the news was disappointing but stressed that smoking marijuana out of competition was not an anti-doping matter.

Michael Phelps Damage Control

In a statement released to The Associated Press, Michael Phelps, who won a record eight gold medals at the Beijing Games, did not dispute the authenticity of the exclusive bongload pot smoking picture.
“I engaged in behavior which was regrettable and demonstrated bad judgement,” Phelps said.
“I’m 23 years old and despite the successes I’ve had in the pool, I acted in a youthful and inappropriate way, not in a manner people have come to expect from me. For this, I am sorry. I promise my fans and the public it will not happen again.”

Phelps Fires Up! …Going Down in Flames?

THIS is the astonishing picture which could destroy the career of the greatest competitor in Olympic history. Michael Phelps, who won a record EIGHT gold medals for swimming at the Beijing games last summer, draws from a bong.
And after sporting chiefs announced laws which mean four-year bans for drug-taking, Phelps’ dreams of adding to his overall 14 gold medal tally at the 2012 games in London could already be OVER.
