Hef’s New Experiment

Playboy founder Hugh Hefner’s new galpal Dasha Astafieva made heads turn when she arrived in a see-through dress at the red carpet for Playboy’s 55 anniversary.
The Ukranian-born Playmate was seen wearing just a thong underneath her dress, which she quickly got rid off, flashing her bottom to the thrilled paparazzi.
It’s unclear whether Astafieva is officially a new love interest for Hef but the pair looked cozy, posing together after the thong-dropping episode.

Hef’s Boys Discuss ‘the Business’

On dating multiple “women” at the same time:
Marston: “I’m not going to have multiple girlfriends — not at the same time.”
Cooper: “I can imagine doing that. I don’t think it’s an odd thing to do. You date around to try to find a connection with some girl.”

On running the family business:
Cooper: “If I were to take over the company or have a say in what’s going on, I’d want the girls to be presented more as they were in the pictorials back in the 1950s and 1960s -— kind of artsy, classy. I would like to bring back that retro-class feel.”

On growing up in the Playboy mansion:
Cooper: “They don’t get it when you say, ‘There’s nothing to do there.’But when you live here and come here every single day, you see the same things. Anybody else would be like, ‘Let’s go see monkeys!’ But I don’t want to see monkeys. I’d rather go bowling than play with monkeys.”

Christie Hefner Resigning From Playboy

CHICAGO, Illinois – Christie Hefner today announced that she intends to step down as Playboy Enterprises, Inc. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. She will stay on as CEO until January 31, 2009, and will remain as a member of the board until a new CEO joins the company. In the course of her tenure, Christie has overseen Playboy’s transition from a domestic magazine publisher to a global lifestyle and multi-media company. She directed the company’s entry into TV, online and mobile and helped each of those businesses reach profitability.
“Playboy Enterprises Inc. has literally and figuratively been my life and career for more than 30 years,” Hefner said. “Last month marked my 20th anniversary as CEO; just as this country is embracing change in the form of new leadership, I have decided that now is the time to make changes in my own life as well.”
Playboy founder Hugh Hefner said: “I asked Christie to step up as president when the company faced serious financial difficulties more than two decades ago. She has worked tirelessly to expand the company’s franchise, and, as a result of her efforts, the company today has more consumers and fans than at any time in our history.”

Cheetah Girl and former 3LW star Adrienne Bailon is reportedly close to inking a deal with Playboy, this after ‘nude’ photos of the singer hit the net earlier this week.
In a deal documented by Page Six, Bailon will receive $100,000 if she poses for the magazine in what Hugh Hefner would call “stylish photos with full nudity in sufficient quantity and quality.”
News of Bailon’s deal surfaces just after the reported ‘thief’, Jonathan Jaxson, who allegedly stole her laptop and posted the photos, confessed that the whole thing was a publicity stunt.
